This module will take as a starting point the recognition that human rights are the entitlement of all people, acknowledging that children are individual rights holders. It will also recognise that children have specific rights through the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child under which they have a right to achieve their full potential and participate in decisions that affect their lives.

Finally, the module is guided by the Council of Europe vision ‘Well-being for All’ which encompasses individual wellbeing as well as societal and global well-being, extending to future generations.
